Oily Skin Routine: Balance

Oily skin tends to produce excess sebum, which can clog pores and trigger breakouts. The key? Gentle balancing—not over-drying.

Morning:

  • Use a sulfate-free gel cleanser to remove impurities without over-cleansing

  • Follow with a clarifying toner (witch hazel or geranium)

  • Apply a lightweight, oil-free moisturiser

  • Don’t skip sunscreen—it helps regulate oil too

Night:

  • Add a serum with AHA/BHA to gently exfoliate and fight breakouts

  • Use a clay mask once a week to detox pores and mattify


Dry Skin Routine: Restore and Replenish

Dry skin lacks hydration and often feels tight or flaky. The goal is to strengthen the moisture barrier.

Morning:

  • Use a creamy, non-foaming cleanser

  • Apply an alcohol-free hydrating toner

  • Follow with a serum rich in antioxidants (Vitamin E, C, A)

  • Finish with a moisturiser + SPF to protect from moisture loss

Night:

  • Add an eye cream and richer moisturiser

  • Layer a nourishing facial oil to seal in hydration

  • Gently exfoliate once a week to remove dullness (skip harsh scrubs)


Sensitive Skin Routine: Calm and Protect

Prone to redness, irritation, or allergic reactions? Sensitive skin needs extra gentle care with minimal ingredients.

Both AM & PM:

  • Cleanse with a non-foaming, fragrance-free lotion

  • Use a soothing toner with ingredients like chamomile or green tea

  • Choose a gentle moisturiser paired with a mineral-based sunscreen

Weekly:

  • Apply a cooling gel mask for hydration and comfort

  • Try mild exfoliation with lactic acid 1–2x a week (if your skin tolerates it)


Combination Skin Routine: Target & Balance

Combo skin features both oily and dry areas—usually an oily T-zone with dry cheeks. This calls for selective care.

Daily:

  • Use a lightweight gel or cream cleanser

  • Apply a balancing toner

  • Moisturise with a formula that hydrates without feeling greasy

Tips:

  • Use clay masks only on oilier zones like the forehead and nose

  • Consider layering hydrating serums on dry areas at night

  • A facial oil can be used overnight when skin feels tight
